We’ve got some NBA player props for you!
There’s just one NBA game on the program on Thursday, May 8 – Game 2 of the Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Western Conference Finals.
Our player prop pick for the first game of the series won easily. We predicted Jamal Murray was going to score at least 27 points at +122 at BetOnline, which he did with zero problems. In fact, he went on to score 31 points that evening.
For the Lakers vs Nuggets Game 2, we’ve got another player in mind. This time, we’re gonna go with Murray’s colleague, Nikola Jokic.

Prop Pick
In Game 1 of the Lakers vs Nuggets series, Nikola Jokic did everything right. He got himself another triple-double, recording 34 points, 21 rebounds, and 14 assists.
His main rival on the court was the Lakers’ big man Anthony Davis who just couldn’t handle Jokic’s offensive exploits. However, Davis did manage to score 40 points that evening.
This time around, we think Davis will focus more on trying to stop Jokic, leaving the job of scoring to LeBron James. So, the big question is whether the 4-time All-Defensive Team player can stop Jokic at Ball Arena in Denver.

“Stop” is too strong of a word. We doubt Davis and his teammates can embarrass Jokic, but they can definitely prevent him from scoring 30+ points for the fifth time in six games.
