It’s time for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. In the first game of the series, the visitors from Florida staged an upset and won 123-116 despite coming to TD Garden as +309 underdogs.

They wouldn’t have done it if Jimmy Butler hadn’t put on a vintage show, scoring 35 points that evening. He also did well defensively, with six steals and three defensive rebounds. Can he do the same tonight?

The Boston Celtics have learned their lesson and you can be 100% certain they’re going to pay way more attention to Jimmy Butler. They definitely have the defensive skills to tame even the best scorers in the league as evident from the fact that in their final game with the 76ers, they kept Joel Embiid to just 15 points.

This, of course, doesn’t mean that they’re going to completely embarrass Butler. On the contrary, the 33-year-old is bound to have a fine game scoring-wise. Still, we doubt he’s gonna score 30+ again. In fact, his 35 points in Game 1 of the Eastern Finals seem like a glitch – it was his highest number since April.

Butler’s average in the regular season was 22.9 PPG, and we think he’s gonna get close to that number this evening. When it comes to rebounds, we’re almost certain he won’t get to double figures, and the same goes for assists.
