Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors is the only NBA game on the program tonight (Thursday, May 4). This is Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinal series, in which the Lakers currently have the lead. Can the Warriors make it 1-1 this evening? Only if their key players do much better than two days ago. So, will they?

Prop Pick

It’s not that the Warriors were horrible in Game 1; it’s just that the Lakers were way better. Anthony Davis had a brilliant game, scoring 30 points – more than any other player in the game. We wouldn’t be surprised if he did something similar tonight. “Over 25.5 points” comes with +100 odds at BetOnline, which sure seems like a decent bet.

What we’re suspicious about is whether Davis can do as great defensively as he did in Game 1. He recorded a total of 23 rebounds, 19 of which were defensive ones. We don’t think he’s gonna get anywhere near that number tonight. In fact, we think the bet “total rebounds – under 14.5” with -108 odds is a very good proposal.

LeBron James also did well in that game, both offensively and defensively, as well as D’Angelo Russell, Dennis Schroder, and a few others. Then, there’s the thing about the Warriors wasting way too many chances from the three-point line.

They made 53 three-point field-goal attempts in that game, but only 21 of those went in. Steph Curry, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson each scored six three-pointers, but they also missed a lot of them. This goes especially for Thompson who missed 10 three-point attempts.

This guy will have to do better tonight, this time both from inside and outside the three-point line. With a little bit more focus, Thompson can definitely go over 30 points. Seems like a longshot, but we know he can do it!
