Game Preview
Until defeating the Bucks in Milwaukee, the Knicks had lost three in a row on the road. Losing to the Golden State Warriors is understandable, but losing to the Spurs and the Hornets isn’t.
However, knowing that they played without Jalen Brunson makes things clearer here. He won’t participate in this one as well, despite getting back in training, which is a big blow. Brunson is the No.7 scorer in the NBA with 26.3 points and the 8th in assists, 7.4 per game.
Cavaliers stabilized following a tough stretch while cruising through the West. Kenny Atkinson’s crew won 4 out of the last 5 meetings, getting back on track. At one point, they lost four in a row, but that’s past them.
Cleveland’s last victims were the LA Clippers, beating them 127-122. The Cavaliers’ offense has been on fire, scoring at least 120 points in five previous contests.
