Game Preview
The fact that Devin Booker won’t play for the Suns is a huge deal. D-Book is the 11th scorer in the NBA with 25.1 points, and his absence will certainly be felt. We already saw that against the Phoenix Suns this Saturday night, when the Suns lost at home, 133-125.
Kevin Durant had 43 points, but that wasn’t enough for the franchise from Phoenix to avoid their second straight loss. This season, the Suns are 5-7 on the road, which is one of the reasons why this team sits near the play-in zone.
The Denver Nuggets are 15-11 and not near the No. 1 seed in the West. They struggle to gain consistency, and the reason is Jamal Murray’s underachievement. That’s why the Nuggets want to make some trades during this deadline and boost their rotation.
Nikola Jokic leads the way, and the Joker is by far the biggest contender for the NBA MVP award—his potential fourth. The Joker is the second-best scorer in the NBA with 31 points, and second in assists with 9.8 per game, and third rebounder with 13 boards each night. He posted a triple-double last night against the Pelicans with 27 points, 13 boards and 10 assists. His Nuggets won 132-129.

This is the first meeting of four this year.
Suns vs. Nuggets Prediction
Even though the Nuggets play on the second of back-to-back nights, they are very confident at Ball Arena, where they have a 7-4 record. Not as confident as in the previous years, but still very good. Meanwhile, the Suns are without Booker and playing mediocre away from Arizona, and that’s enough for us to bet on the Nuggets.
