Game Preview
The Suns have already lost the Lakers this week, though that matchup was in Arizona and was a preseason one. After that, they opened the campaign with a victory over the LA Clippers, whom they beat following the OT 116-113.
Kevin Durant had 25 points, with seven boards, while Bradley Beal scored 24. Devin Booker was rational, ending the night with 15 buckets, six assists, and four boards. Phoenix had trouble controlling the glass, with them having just 42 boards compared to LAC’s 51.
The Lakers defeated the Timberwolves 110-103. They became the first team in NBA history to have both father and son playing together—LeBron and Bronny James. Though, the central figure of the matchup was Anthony Davis, who dominated on both ends of the court.
