Game Preview
Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the LA Lakers on the road, 110-103, opening the new NBA season with an L. Boys from Minneapolis were behind throughout the entire event, and even though LAL never pulled away, the Wolves couldn’t come back to flip the score.
The guests had 16 turnovers, nine more than the Lakers, which decided the game. Also, they couldn’t defend Anthony Davis and the paint, from where they allowed 72 points on Tuesday night.
What scares the Kings fans is their poor preseason performance. They lost all five games, all against conference rivals, and to be even worse, we haven’t seen anything good in their performances.
Undoubtedly, this team has the potential, and with DeMar DeRozan, whom they landed this summer, it should be in the playoffs. They will need to find a decent replacement for Domantas Sabonis, who definitely needs help under the rim.
Timberwolves vs. Kings Head-to-Head
Last season, these two franchises played three H2H games. The guests won all of them: the Kings twice at the Target Center and the T-Wolves in California.
Timberwolves vs. Kings Prediction
We don’t like what we saw from the Kings in the preseason, and despite the T-Wolves still adapting to Julius Randle and many new faces, we pick them to triumph in this event.
