Wisconsin improved to 11-3 with their win over Nebraska on Saturday. They currently sit at the top of the Big-10, as the only team with an undefeated record in conference play. They’ll aim to keep that alive in this matchup against Ohio State. They are 1-2 in road games this season, needing to be at their best to get back in the win column. The Badgers offense has racked up 80 or more points in their last three games.

Ohio State will aim to bounce back in this game after coming up short in Indiana last week. They fell to 0-2 on the road, but will now return home where they hold an 8-1 record. The Buckeyes have gotten some sensational games from breakout G Bruce Thornton, who has been impressive as a sophomore. He scored 29 points in Ohio State’s ranked win over Alabama, and will be a crucial factor against Wisconsin as well.

Prediction

Wisconsin has played at a consistently high level this season, which makes them difficult to bet against. That being said, they aren’t as dangerous on the road, and have not faced a tough opponent in a few weeks. If they come out of the gate slowly, Ohio State will have a real opportunity to pull off the upset. With an 8-1 record at home, I’m leaning towards taking the Buckeyes to come away with a ranked win.
