The SEC title game is now set in stone and will once again feature Georgia vs Alabama.
Tennessee was embarrased by Missouri on Saturday, losing 36-7. The Volunteers remain ranked, despite having few good wins on their schedule. They are in for another brutal game this week against Georgia. To defy expectations and have a chance at winning, Tennessee has much to work on. Their offense was stagnant last week, and turned the ball over three times. They need to fully bounce back to have a shot.
Prediction
Georgia has dominated most of their opponents this season, but has looked somewhat less impressive on the road. That gives Tennessee something to work with, but they did not look competitive last week against a Missouri team that Georgia just beat. I’d be surprised if this game ended up close. I see the Bulldogs pulling away early and never looking back, winning this game by a large margin and covering.
