Penn State started slow against UMass, entering the 2nd quarter up 7-0. They didn’t let that last long, as they went on to outscore the Minutemen 56-0 over the next 3 quarters. The Nittany Lions will prepare for their toughest and most anticipated game of the season, as they head on the road to face the Buckeyes. Penn State will lean on their stellar defense, and hope young QB Drew Allar excels in his toughest test yet.

Ohio State cruised to another win on Saturday, defeating Purdue 41-17. They’ve outscored their opponents 216-58 this season, with the closest call coming in a 17-14 road win over #15 Notre Dame. The Buckeyes can earn another signature win this week against Penn State. A victory here solidifies them in the top-3, with the first CFP rankings coming out in just two weeks. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. continues to dominate.

Prediction

This is the weekend’s premier game, and one of the best of the season so far. With 3 of the 11 remaining undefeated teams in the Big-10, it was only a matter of time before we got this matchup. Ohio State is 11-1 against Penn State since 2012, and will once again be the favorite in this game. The Nittany Lions have one of their best defenses in that span, but will still face a tough task on the road. I’ll take the Buckeyes.
