- Utah came up short at Washington on Saturday, losing by a score of 35-28.
- Arizona continued to surge at Colorado, winning 34-31, and climbing to 7-3.
- These two teams last met on November 5, 2022, in a game that Utah won 45-20.
The college football season is at its peak! Let’s preview the upcoming Utah vs Arizona Pac-12 clash. These two teams now have three losses, but remain ranked. The loser here will very likely drop out of the top-25.

Preview
Utah was unable to overcome the Hukies in Washington, but played a competitive game. They still rank #22 despite taking their 3rd loss of the season, since all three came against top-11 teams. The Utes don’t have any wins against currently ranked teams, but have the chance to change that against Arizona. While the Utes can no longer repeat as conference champions, they can still make a good bowl game with a win.
Arizona won their 4th straight game, this time taking down a scrappy Colorado team on the road. The Wildcats rose to #17 in the CFP rankings, an incredible result that was not expected at the beginning of the season. Arizona’s largest margin of defeat was by just 7 points, giving them a chance to finish the year with an excellent rรฉsumรฉ if they win out. There’s still a chance they can make the Pac-12 title game as well.
Prediction
This should be a great matchup between two of the best 3-loss teams in the country. Both of these teams are going bowling after the season, and can still fight for a better bowl game. Arizona has been red-hot, and has the advantage of being at home in this game, but will face a unique test against Utah’s capable defense. I see this game coming down to the wire, with Utah ultimately coming away with a road victory.
