Buffalo continued to surge, winning their 4th game in a row, and improving to 10-6 on the year. Despite their winning play as of late, the Bills have still not clinched a playoff berth. They control their own destiny, and can clinch the AFC East division with a win over the Dolphins this week. On the other hand, Buffalo will be at risk of missing the playoffs entirely if they lose. QB Josh Allen will be put to the test against Miami.

The Dolphins were smothered by the Ravens, raising some major concerns to their ability to compete with other top AFC teams. They are 0-3 against Baltimore, Buffalo, and Kansas City, with their best win in the AFC coming against the 7-9 Broncos. Without pass rushers Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips, who both suffered season-ending injuries, Miami’s defense needs to show they won’t be overwhelmed by top teams.

Prediction

This should be the most exciting game of Week 18, with the division on the line, which is why it was selected as the final Sunday Night Football game of the regular season. The Dolphins will have a key advantage of being at home here, but I’m worried about their defense’s play as of late in the midst of key injuries. Josh Allen has more experience in elimination games than Tua, and should lead the Bills to a win.
