That being said, they never really had a chance of winning. Arizona’s best bet at 1-7 is to compete as best they can, finding as many positives to build on for next year as possible, as they tank closer to USC’s Caleb Williams.

The Browns dropped to 4-3 on the season following their loss to the Seahawks. They sit in a three-way tie in the uber-competitive NFC North division. Cleveland needs to take advantage of games like this one against the Cardinals. QB PJ Walker continues to struggle in Deshaun Watson’s absence. He posted a 59.6 passer rating in the loss to Seattle. The Browns will continue to rely on their defense to aid them to victory.

Prediction

Despite their 1-7 record, the Cardinals have played many of their opponents close, and had a shocking upset win over the Cowboys in Week 3. That makes any game that they are in unpredictable, though they will still be a large underdog regardless. I think Arizona can keep this game relatively low-scoring, but their offense is likely to have a ton of trouble against the Browns defense. I’ll take Cleveland to win and cover.
