Preview

Kansas City bounced back with a win over the Raiders last week. They improved to 2-2 over the last 4 weeks, after starting the season out 6-1. The Chiefs have looked the part of the defending champions for much of the year, but still have some noticeable holes to fill. One of those holes is their WR unit, which makes rookie Rashee Rice’s 8-catch, 107-yard, and 1-TD game against Las Vegas even more encouraging.

The Packers improved to 5-6 with a win over the Lions in Detroit. After starting 2-5, Green Bay has won 3 of their last 4 games, and re-emerged in the NFC Wild Card race. This week’s game against the Chiefs is their last game of the season against a team that is currently above .500. While a loss would not eliminate them, a win could set them on track to make the postseason. They need Jordan Love to keep improving.

Prediction

Green Bay has been heating up, which makes them no lock to lose this game against an inconsistent Chiefs team. That being said, Kansas City should still be the better team in this matchup by a decent margin. I don’t expect them to blow the Packers out on the road, but they should be able to win and cover.
