They are in danger of entering the playoffs with no momentum. They can spark some this week with a game against the division rival Giants, and a chance to win the NFC East division still on the table. The Giants were the only team they defeated in that 1-4 span.

The Giants lost to the Rams on Sunday, after a game-winning field goal attempt sailed wide left. It may have been the better outcome for New York in the long-term, after being fully eliminated from playoff contention. With only draft positioning to play for, the Giants will face another uphill battle against an Eagles team that they are 3-16 against over the past 10 years. They’ll be aiming to get some revenge here.

Prediction

With how poorly the Eagles have been playing lately, it’s hard to bet on them with much confidence. That being said, if there’s one thing they do consistently, it’s beat the Giants. After winning at home against them a couple of weeks ago, I expect Philadelphia to complete the season sweep with a win in this game.
