The Eagles remain undefeated after Week 5, currently sitting as one of just two unbeaten teams. They continued to look impressive on both sides of the ball against the Rams, especially on defense. After allowing 31 points to Washington in the week prior, their defense bounced back, holding the Rams to just 14 points, and none in the 2nd half. They’ll aim to continue that success against the Jets suspect offense.

New York got a much-needed win against the Broncos in Week 5. They managed to successfully exploit Denver’s horrific defense. They were especially successful on the ground, with RB Breece Hall picking up 177 yards and a TD on 22 carries. The Jets 31 points scored was their highest total since November of last year against the Bears. They have an opportunity to carry their momentum into a potential upset at home.

Prediction

The Jets face an uphill battle in this matchup against the 5-0 Eagles. What they have going for them is a strong defense capable of keeping them in contention and home field advantage. Unfortunately, the Eagles are equally capable on defense. If their overloaded defensive line prevents Breece Hall from breaking loose, the pressure will mount on Zach Wilson. I don’t expect a blowout, but I’ll take the Eagles.
