Game Preview
The Broncos had their bye in week 9 so head into a week 10 matchup against the Bills, fully rested. TE Greg Dulcich remains on the IR for at least another week and Safety Kareem Jackson is serving a two game ban for repeated violation of the league’s unnecessary roughness rules. Denver has recovered from a poor start to the season, winning their last two matches but conquering the Bills will be a tough ask for them here. Rookie WR Marvin Mimms could be primed for an uptick in usage for the remainder of the season following a strong showing in the early weeks.
The Bills were on the wrong end of another upset in week 9, losing 18-24 to the Bengals. QB Josh Allen threw 26/38 completions for 258 yards and one touchdown, and added a trip to the end zone himself on one of his eight QB rushing plays. WR Gabe Davis went catch-less and seems to have slipped behind sophomore Khalil Shakir as Allen’s secondary target.
Prediction
The Bills have been hit-and-miss so far this season but I expect them to bounce back here. Despite the Broncos looking better of late, Buffalo carries way too much threat for them and should win comfortably here.
