The 4-4 New York Jets take on the 4-5 Las Vegas Raiders in this week 10 matchup. The Raiders defeated another New York team last week and will be looking to take the scalp of the Giants’ rivals this time out.

Game Preview

The Jets struggled to get their offense firing in meaningful positions during their 6-27 loss to the Chargers on Monday night. Despite their struggles, QB Zach Wilson is slowly making improvements to his play and the 24-year-old threw 33/49 completions for 263 yards but he also fumbled three times. Sophomore RB Breece Hall looks fully recovered from the ACL injury that cut short his 2022 season and the powerhouse back will be key to any success the Jets have this year.

The Raiders ran out comfortable winners in week 9, beating the Giants 6-30. RB Josh Jacobs was the star of the show, with 26 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns. The 25-year-old juggernaut looks to be back to his best in an offense unshackled following Josh McDaniels’ sacking. The next challenge for the Raiders and rookie QB Aidan O’Connell will be finding a way to get superstar receiver Davante Adams the ball more often, if they can do that the Raiders may be able to make a wildcard push over the remainder of the season.

Prediction

The Jets are slight favorites here but I have to side with the home team. In Maxx Crosby the Raiders have one of the best edge rushers in the game, I see him giving Zach Wilson a torrid time and Las Vegas picking up a vital win.
