Game Preview
The Bengals suffered a defeat to the Texans on Sunday thanks to a game winning field goal by Matt Ammendola. Cincinnati will hope to have WR Tee Higgins back on the field for their divisional matchup with the Ravens after the 24-year-old missed week 10 with a hamstring injury. Higgins did not practice on Tuesday however and is considered day-to-day meaning Thursday may come too soon in his recovery.
The Ravens also suffered a close defeat in week 10 thanks to another walk off field goal, this one from Dustin Hopkins, blowing a 15 point lead in the process. Rookie RB Keaton Mitchell could have earned more opportunity following a second strong performance. The 21-year-old posted 3 carries for 34 yards and one touchdown as well as one reception for 32 yards.
Prediction
The Ravens are slight favorites heading into this divisional matchup and I see them getting the job done here. The Bengals are better than their position at the bottom of the AFC North suggests, but the Ravens defense is one of the best in the league and their offense is firing well.
