The Eagles head into this matchup against the Chiefs with Dallas Goedert their only major injury concern. The 28-year-old tight end is doubtful for this encounter as he is only two weeks into his recovery from a fractured arm, week 13-14 seems like a more realistic timeframe for his return. QB Jalen Hurts was seen in practice this week without the knee brace that he had been sporting for the last 3 games. This is great news for his mobility going into a matchup with a Kansas City team ranked second in points allowed per game.

Despite a relatively quiet season so far, by his own standards, Travis Kelce is still the one to watch for the Chiefs on Monday night. The 6’5, 250lb tight end already has four touchdowns this year along with 597 receiving yards and is integral to the Chiefs’ success. Rookie WR Rashee Rice has had an increasing presence in the offense, with his snap share steadily rising too so he may be one to watch.

Prediction

Kansas City head into this matchup as slight favorites, and it feels as though their pass defense may be the key to this game. Both sides are elite and could easily return to the Superbowl this year, but I think the Chiefs will edge this encounter.
