Game Preview

The Steelers overcame the Packers 19-23 largely due to the excellent work of their running back room. Lead back Najee Harris rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, and backup Jaylen Warren added 101 yards and a score on his 15 carries. QB Kenny Pickett struggled in the passing game however, posting just 126 yards on 14 completions. Tight end Pat Freiermuth’s practice window has opened following his stint on the IR, and the 25-year-old looks set to suit up on Sunday. Freiermuth’s return will no doubt elevate the passing game for Pittsburgh going forward.

The Browns defeated the Ravens thanks to a spectacular comeback from a 15 point deficit in week 10, running out 33-31 victors. The Victory came at a cost however, with quarterback Deshaun Watson ruled out for the season with a displaced fracture in his right shoulder. The Browns are set to turn to rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old struggled in his only start of the season in week 4, but with more time to work with the offense on the practice field there is great belief in his talent.

Prediction

Had Deshaun Watson not been ruled out for the season I would probably be leaning toward Cleveland in this matchup. His absence however, and the downgrade at QB of Thompson-Robinson means I can only see one team winning here and that is the Steelers.
