Game Preview
During week 10, the Titans lost 6-20 to the Buccaneers. The Tennessee offense could only score two field goals, thanks to the Tampa Bay defense that put up a great performance. QB Will Levis tried his best but couldn’t get his team to fire. Unfortunately, WR Treylon Burks is still in concussion protocol after a nasty collision in week 9. As a result, Kyle Phillips is expected to be the secondary target in the upcoming games.
The Jaguars suffered a heavy 34-3 defeat against the 49ers last Sunday. Their star running back, Travis Etienne, who had previously been performing well, was unable to make much of an impact, only managing to gain 35 yards on 9 carries. In the upcoming game against the Titans, Etienne will be hoping to bounce back, having already accumulated 618 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns this season. Christian Kirk has been showing his worth as the primary receiver, surpassing Calvin Ridley in recent weeks, as demonstrated in Week 10 when he caught 6 passes for 104 yards.
Prediction
Without a doubt, Trevor Lawrence must regain his form if the Jaguars want to secure a win and prevent the resurgent Texans from closing the gap at the top of the AFC South. The Titans will present a stiff challenge but the Jaguars should have enough to run out victorious here.
