The Packers defeated the Chargers 20-23 on Sunday thanks to a late Romeo Doubs touchdown. The 23-year-old sophomore hauled in a 24 yard pass to seal the game and take his touchdown tally for the season to 7. Green Bay lost running backs Aaron Jones and Emanuel Wilson to injury during the week 11 game, meaning AJ Dillon will be the primary back going into week 12. Dillon was listed as limited on Monday’s estimated practice report with a groin injury but is expected to suit up against the Chargers.

On Sunday, the Detroit Lions made a remarkable comeback by scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Chicago Bears by 31-26. The Lions’ running backs were the standout performers of the game. Rookie Jahmyr Gibbs had an impressive game, scoring a touchdown and running for 36 yards on 8 carries. He also caught all six of his targets for an additional 59 yards. Gibbs’ teammate in the running back committee, David Montgomery,, also had a good game, rushing 12 times for 76 yards and a touchdown, plus two receptions for 22 yards.

Prediction

Detroit heads into this matchup as heavy favorites, and they look like a team primed for a playoff berth this season. Green Bay will keep this entertaining but ultimately I think the Lions will prove too strong here.
