NFL Week 12: Kansas City Chiefs vs Las Vegas Raiders Odds, and Picks (Nov 26)

• The Chiefs lost 21-17 to the Eagles on Monday night.

The 7-3 Kansas City Chiefs travel to the 5-6 Las Vegas Raiders for this AFC West divisional matchup. Kansas City are the clear favorites to win this game as well as the division title but the Raiders will be hoping to spoil the party in their usual, rough and ready style.

The Chiefs led 7-17 at halftime against the Eagles in week 11, but 14 unanswered points from Philadelphia saw them fall to a late defeat. In the merry-go-round that is the Chiefs receiving room, Justin Watson was this week’s go to wide out. The 27-year-old caught 5 of 11 targets for 53 yards and one touchdown. Tight end Travis Kelce was the next man up, catching 7/9 targets for 44 yards and a score. QB Patrick Mahomes was well protected by his offensive line, and will hope for more of the same when he faces off against Maxx Crosby this week.

The Raiders have improved under interim head coach Antonio Pierce, and whilst they failed to win against Miami, the 13-20 defeat showed that they are no push overs. QB Aidan O’Connell will need to cut down on his interceptions if the Raiders are to get over the line against top teams however, the rookie had three picks against his name in week 11 and it is hard to win football games with those numbers.

Prediction

Kansas City has won their last five meetings with the Raiders and are clear favorites again here. The Raiders will make life tough for Mahomes and co. but I see the Chiefs picking up the win in a closely fought matchup.
