Rookie quarterback Bryce Young has struggled this year, mainly due to a lack of support from his receiving team. Running back Miles Sanders was highly inefficient despite carrying the ball more times than his teammate Chuba Hubbard. To improve their performance in the future, the Panthers will need to invest in providing Young with better tools.
Although the Buccaneers suffered a 20-27 loss against the Colts last weekend, the game had its silver linings. For instance, running back Rachaad White had an impressive performance, running 15 times and gaining 100 yards. In addition, the veteran wide receiver Mike Evans caught 6 of 9 targets, accumulating 70 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns. Evans has racked up 54 receptions for 850 yards in his 11 games so far this season. These stats suggest that he is on track for his 10th season with over 1000 yards.
Prediction
