Game Preview
Seattle suffered a 31-13 defeat against San Francisco on Thursday night. The only touchdown for Seattle was scored by Jordyn Brooks through a pick six. With the lead back Kenneth Walker III absent, the rookie Zach Charbonnet took on an increased role and had 14 carries and 4 receptions for a combined total of 58 yards. The 22-year-old UCLA graduate played well and impressed the Seattle fans. It is uncertain whether Walker will be available for Thursday’s game as he missed Monday’s practice but Charbonnet seems ready to step up if he doesnโt suit up.
DaRon Bland made history in the Cowboys’ 45-10 victory over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night. The 24-year-old defensive back has been exceptional this season with a league-leading 7 interceptions. His pick-six against Washington was his fifth of the season, setting a new NFL record. Bland’s outstanding performances make him a strong contender for the DPOY award. Meanwhile, running back Tony Pollard scored a touchdown for the second consecutive week, marking a significant improvement after his long barren spell.
Prediction
Dallas has managed to remain undefeated in 13 consecutive home games. Given the team’s elite offensive weapons and the best defense in the NFL, it seems unlikely that this winning streak will end here. I expect the Cowboys to once again win comfortably.
