After QB Joshua Dobbs threw 4 interceptions in the Vikings’ week 12 loss to the Bears the coaching staff announced they would be reviewing the position. That review has resulted in Dobbs retaining his place as starter for the week 14 game against Las Vegas. The big news for Minnesota however comes in the shape of a wide receiver, with superstar Justin Jefferson set to return to action after missing 7 games.

The Raiders will have taken plenty of positives from their 31-17 loss to the Chiefs into their preparations for this matchup with Minnesota. QB Aidan O’Connell played well in defeat and cut the turnovers out that had plagued his first few starts. Edge rusher Maxx Crosby played that game through injury and is listed as questionable to suit up on Sunday, his presence will be key to the Raiders defense.

Prediction

This game could be a key factor in keeping the playoff chances of both these teams alive, and as such could be a tense affair. As a Raiders fan, its been a disappointing season but a win here could galvanise the squad. I’ll stick my neck on the line and say the Raiders can do it, but its very much a case of heart over head here.
