- The Buccaneers defeated the Panthers 18-21 in week 13.
- The Falcons beat the Jets 13-8 last time out.
- These teams met in week 7, with the Falcons winning 16-13.
The 5-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the 6-6 Atlanta Falcons in this week 14 NFC South divisional matchup. The NFC South is the tightest division in the NFL this season with three teams fighting for the title. A win for either team here will put them in the driving seat going forwards.

Game Preview
The Buccaneers came out on top in a tight matchup with the Panthers in week 13. As usual for Tampa Bay this season, Mike Evans and Rachaad White were the stars of the show. WR Evans caught 7 of 12 targets for 162 yards and 1 touchdown, whilst RB White carried the ball 20 times for 84 yards and 1 score. 30-year-old Evans joined the great Jerry Rice in the record books, becoming just the second player to pass 1000 receiving yards in 10 straight seasons.
The defense were the stars for Atlanta in week 13 as they defeated the Jets 13-8. Whilst the offense stuttered against a formidible Jets defense, Atlanta’s own defensive unit rallied, recording 4 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.
Prediction
In a tight division, Atlanta hold the advantage of a slightly better record than Tampa Bay and New Orleans. The Falcons’ defense will keep this game tight but I feel that the Buccaneers are probably the best equipped team in the NFC South and will get a vital win here.
