Game Preview
The Bears recorded their second straight win with victory over the Lions in week 14. Quarterback Justin Fields has been excellent since his return from injury, and has rediscovered his rushing prowess. The 24-year-old has racked up 221 yards on the ground in his last three outings and has thrown no interceptions in that period either. Wide receiver DJ Moore missed practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury and his status will require monitoring heading into week 15.
Joe Flacco has put in two vintage performances at quarterback since he took over the starting role in week 13 of the season. The 38-year-old veteran has thrown 49/89 completions for 565 yards and 5 touchdowns in that time, and looks to have lost none of his arm strength. Tight end David Njoku found the end zone twice on Sunday with big plays of 30 and 34 yards, and appears to be a go-to option for Flacco.
Prediction
This is a game between two tough teams, and the Bears are hitting their stride at the moment. The Browns defense has slipped a little of late but their offense looks better with Flacco at the helm. This will be a tight one, but I think the Browns win here and take a step closer to the playoffs.
