Game Preview
The Texans lost Nico Collins and C.J. Stroud to injury during their 6-20 loss to the Jets in week 14. Collins remains questionable to start this week against the Titans but Stroud looks set to miss the game. Davis Mills will take over at quarterback and that downgrade will impact how the Texans move the chains. Running backs Dameon Pierce and Devin Singletary could see a larger role without Stroud leading the line.
The Titans caused the upset of the week when they defeated the Dolphins 28-27 on Monday night. Rookie QB Will Levis threw 23/38 completions for 327 yards and a touchdown, with one pick the only blot on his record. Veteran RB Derrick Henry may not be picking up the yardage we are all familiar with, but he is still finding the end zone of late. The 29-year-old carried the ball 17 times for 34 yards and two scores here. WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine missed practice on Friday due to illness and is questionable for this week 15 matchup as a result.
Prediction
The injuries to the Texans have come at a terrible time, and could derail their playoff push. With Tank Dell already missing, Nico Collins questionable and CJ Stroud unlikely to start the result here seems straight forward. Tennessee to win comfortably.
