The Chargers have decided to part ways with their head coach Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telasco after their 21-63 defeat against their divisional rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night. Despite scoring a 79-yard touchdown through Joshua Palmer in the second half, while the Raiders rested their main defense, the Chargers could not avoid the heavy loss. It seems unlikely that the Chargers will take any risks with their key players in the upcoming games. Additionally, QB Will Grier has been signed from the Patriots’ practice squad and may make his first appearance on an NFL field since his 2019 rookie season with the Carolina Panthers.

The Buffalo Bills beat the Dallas Cowboys 10-31 in week 15. James Cook had an outstanding game. He carried the ball 25 times for 179 yards and scored one touchdown. He also caught 3 passes for 42 yards and another touchdown. Quarterback Josh Allen, only threw 15 passes, completing 7 of them for 94 yards and 1 touchdown. He also ran for 24 yards and a touchdown from 8 attempts. This week, when they play against Los Angeles, it’s likely that the Bills will continue to rely on their ground game to control the clock and dominate the game against a deflated Chargers team.

Prediction

The Bills are heavy favorites in this one, and with good reason. I expect this to be mostly one way traffic and Buffalo to advance their playoff hopes greatly as a result.
