Their quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, was placed in concussion protocol this week and is presently questionable to play. If he fails to clear the protocols, C.J. Beathard will be given the start. Meanwhile, wide receiver Zay Jones had a limited practice on Friday in an attempt to recover from a hamstring injury. If he is unable to play, Parker Washington is expected to take on an even greater role in the game.
The Buccaneers won their third game in a row, defeating the Packers 34-20 in week 15. Quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 381 yards and 4 touchdowns, while wide receiver Chris Godwin had 155 yards on 10 receptions. Running back Rachaad White scored a touchdown, had 89 yards on 21 carries, and caught two passes for 50 yards. White is a key player for the Buccaneers’ playoff hopes if he stays healthy.
