Game Preview
The Patriots will be hoping tight end Hunter Henry can return to action in week 17, after missing one game with a knee injury. The 29-year-old logged three limited practices this week and signs are pointing towards him playing, although no risks will be taken given New England’s elimination from the playoff picture. Ezekiel Elliott will be the one to watch, despite not scoring a rushing touchdown since week 7 (He has two receiving scores in the last 3 games) the veteran has been integral to the Patriots offense since they lost Rhamondre Stevenson to injury.
The Bills have no new injury concerns heading into a key matchup for them against division rivals the New England Patriots. Buffalo will be hoping for a big game from star receiver Stefon Diggs, following three games without a touchdown from the 30-year-old. In the week 7 matchup against the Patriots Diggs caught 6 receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown, so there is hope of him returning to form here.
Prediction
The Bills are heavy favorites here, but games against divisional rivals do not always go to script. The Patriots may be out of the playoff picture, but they would love to ruin the Buffalo party. I think the Bills will win this one, but they won’t have things all their own way.
