Game Preview

Injuries are mounting up for the Colts at the moment, but none will concern their fans as much as the concussion suffered by rookie QB Anthony Richardson last time out. The 6’4″ mobile 21-year-old has been a revelation under centre for Indianapolis and his status is worth monitoring heading into the week 3 matchup against the Ravens. If Richardson fails to clear protocol then Gardner Minshew is likely to get the start at the QB position.

Lamar Jackson was looking back to his best as the Ravens beat the Bengals on Sunday. The star QB threw 24/33 for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns, and also rushed 12 times for 54 yards. WR Odell Beckham Jnr left the game early with an ankle injury but is expected to be passed fit to play in week 3.

Prediction

The Ravens are playing good football and even without J.K Dobbins they seem to be able to move the ball well on the ground as well as through the air. The Colts have improved a lot since last season’s shambolic displays but Baltimore feels too strong in this one so we have to go for a Ravens win.
