- The Broncos were decimated by the Dolphins in a 70-20 loss on Sunday.
- The Bears were also humiliated this week at the hands of the Chiefs with a 10-41 loss.
- These two teams last met in 2019 with the Bears winnings 16-14.
The 0-3 Broncos take on the 0-3 Bears in a matchup between two teams who were humiliated by their last opposition. With both quarterbacks under fire and under pressure victory here could offer a stay of execution for one of them.

Game Preview
There is very little positivity that can come out of a 70-20 defeat but rookie WR Marvin Mimms is worth a mention. His 99-yard punt return and his growing presence in the passing game may provide the Denver offense with a slither of hope in an otherwise disappointing season so far. Russell Wilson looks like a shadow of his former self and the veteran quarterback may soon find himself replaced by Jarrett Stidham if results don’t improve.
The Bears have quarterback issues of their own this season, with Justin Fields looking out of his depth as a pocket passer in the NFL. Chicago offered next to nothing on either side of the ball against the Chiefs and unless things change very soon the Bears could be headed toward the #1 pick for 2024. There are excuses a-plenty, from the play calling (as Fields was quick to criticize last week) to injuries to the offensive and defensive lines, but this team was bad last season and they have gotten worse not better in 2023.
Prediction
This could be the perfect bounce-back game for either team, but it could also be the worst viewing on offer this weekend. There were huge holes in the Denver secondary vs. Miami but Justin Fields is not the guy to exploit that so this could be a ground-and-pound display from Chicago which makes me side with Denver…just.
