Game Preview
The Rams suffered a shock loss at the hands of the Steelers in week 7, going down 24-17 in a game most expected them to win. Rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua was once again the star of the show for Los Angeles. The 22-year-old caught 8/12 targets for 154 yards, whilst his fellow star wideout Cooper Kupp disappointed with just 2 catches for 29 yards. Running back Darrell Henderson was re-signed from free agency to provide cover for the injured Kyren Williams. The 26-year-old slotted back into the running room with ease, carrying the ball 18 times for 61 yards and a score.
Dallas come off their bye week with no fresh injury concerns to worry about so far. Wide receiver Ceedee Lamb has been quietly efficient this season. The 24-year-old has 34 catches from 42 targets for 475 yards and just one touchdown. In fact all 6 of QB Dak Prescott’s passing touchdowns this season have found different targets. The Dallas defense is one of the best in the league. They have 16 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and 8 interceptions to date, with 3 touchdowns to go alongside their defensive numbers.
Prediction
The Cowboys’ defense is elite, and they can have so many ways to hurt you that this will be a tough test for L.A. I see the Cowboys picking up the win in an entertaining game here.
