Rams QB suffered a sprain in his right thumb during week 8’s loss to the Cowboys. the 35-year-old is considered day-to-day with the injury but expectations are that Brett Rypien will start against Green Bay. Rookie sensation Puca Nacua was limited in practice on Wednesday with some swelling in his knee but the young wide receiver should be fit to start on Sunday.
The Packers’ offense struggled once again in their week 8 loss to the Vikings. Jordan Love was inconsistent once again, with the young QB completing only 24 of 41 attempts for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Aaron Jones is still struggling with the hamstring injury that has seen him miss much of the season. The veteran running back was limited in practice on Wednesday but is expected to suit up on Sunday.
Prediction
This is another game where the absence of a starting QB may be the telling factor, if Stafford misses for the Rams then I expect Green Bay to get the job done.
