Preview
The Ravens were unable to hang on at home against the Colts, taking their first loss of the year. Perhaps the victims of Minshew Magic, Baltimore wound up losing a game they had controlled for the majority of the contest. They’ll aim to bounce back this week against a Browns team that has been dangerous this season, especially on defense. Lamar Jackson has been thriving this season, thanks to his new weapons.
Cleveland posted another blowout victory this week like their win in Week 1. It was once again their defense that provided their impetus for such a strong showing. They held the Titans to just 3 total points. DE Myles Garrett continued to showcase his sensational talent, racking up 3.5 sacks in the game. If the Browns can improve a bit on offense, they could become a legitimate contender in the AFC conference.
Prediction
This a key AFC North matchup featuring two of the current top-3 teams in the division. Coming into the season, I was more high on the Ravens, but have been impressed by the Browns defense. I still believe that Baltimore is the more complete team, but Cleveland may have enough of an edge at home here. It’ll be interesting to see how well Lamar Jackson can avoid the Browns pressure. I’ll take the home team here.
