Preview
The Ravens continued to look impressive last week, dominating the Browns en route to a 28-3 victory. The defense looked very impressive once again, continuing the success that they had towards the end of last season. Meanwhile, the offense played very well against the Browns stellar defense. Unfortunately, OBJ and Rashod Bateman are now injured, leaving the bulk of the work to Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers.
Pittsburgh really struggled last week, getting blown out by the rebuilding Texans. Their defense struggled against a Houston offense that has been much better than expected. T.J. Watt was held sack-less for the first time this season, and the Steelers ended up allowing 30 points. Even worse was the offense, which couldn’t produce at all against the Texans defense. QB Kenny Pickett was also banged up in their defeat.
Prediction
I wouldn’t be surprised if this game was a bit of a course correction result, with the Steelers winning at home against the red-hot Ravens, despite their struggles. I predicted that in Week 2 over Cleveland, but don’t feel nearly as confident this time around. Not only is Pickett banged up, but the Steelers are really struggling. I’d expect this game to stay pretty low scoring, with the Ravens ultimately earning the road win.
