Team News

There will be two massive games for the Winnipeg Jets before the end of the regular season, and they will likely need victories in both to book their spot in the Western Conference playoffs. They currently sit eighth overall, and hold a two-point advantage over the Calgary Flames, having played a game less.

The Jets come into this game after winning each of their last two. However, there may be a slight concern hanging over their record on the road. So far this season, they have gone 19-19-1 on their travels, which is a concern ahead of back-to-back road games against the Wild and Avalanche.

There will be no such stress for the Wild over the final games of the regular season, as their place in the playoffs is already assured. They currently sit fifth overall, and come into this game after winning six of their last ten. In recent weeks, they have also impressed, having won each of their last two.

Their home record throughout the season has been excellent, as they have picked up an overall record of 25-11-4 so far this term. Their main goal will be to go into the playoffs with as much momentum as possible behind them.

Picks

Both of these teams will be chasing a big victory on Tuesday evening. However, we will be interested in siding with the home side, based on their excellent record in front of their own fans this term.
