Team News
The Colorado Avalanche leaned on all their playoff experience from last season in game two of their series against the Seattle Kraken. The Avalanche conceded twice in the opening period, and at that point, Seattle looked extremely comfortable. However, the Avalanche came storming back, scoring twice in the second, before netting the winner in the third.
Artturi Lehkonen netted a goal and registered an assist in the win, while Devon Toews ended the night with the same stats. Valeri Nichushkin also scored in the win for the Avalanche, but there remains a challenge on to reach the next round.

It will be a historic moment for the Kraken on Saturday, as the Climate Pledge Arena plays host to a playoff game for the first time. The Kraken may have been dreaming of taking a 2-0 series advantage into game three, but hopes of that were extinguished in the second and third periods on Thursday evening.
Still, Seattle will come into game three in good confidence, as they could move into a 3-1 advantage with victories in games three and four in front of their home fans. Goals in their defeat on Thursday were scored by Justin Schultz and Brandon Tanev.
Picks
The Kraken has won just one of their three home games against the Avalanche in franchise history. That would be a concern coming into game three on Saturday. For that reason, we could see the Avalanche flexing their muscles and taking a 2-1 advantage in the series.
