Team News

There will be pressure on the Rangers coming into game four of this series, as they could see their advantage wiped out by the New Jersey Devils. They looked very assured after taking games one and two in New Jersey, but the pressure will be on after their home defeat in the previous clash.

Chris Kreider scored for the Rangers in that overtime loss, with Igor Shesterkin making 26 saves from 28 shots faced. There will be a demand for an instant response from the Rangers in game four, as they will want an advantage to take back to New Jersey.

The Devils will be hoping for a similar result to the previous clash between the sides, as they bid to level the series ahead of the clash moving back to New Jersey later this week. They battled exceptionally well in game three of the series, as they earned a 2-1 success at Madison Square Garden.

Dougie Hamilton and Jack Hughes scored the goals in the success, while Jesper Bratt ended the night with two assists. However, backing up that fine overtime success is now the big challenge for the Devils, and a victory on Monday could see the momentum swing in their favor in this opening round series.

Picks

It wasnโ€™t the best display by the Rangers in game three, but we expect them to get back on track at Madison Square Garden on Monday. We fully expect the home side to land victory to build up a 3-1 series advantage.
