Team News

This could yet be a very special season for the Seattle Kraken, as they could reach the Western Conference finals for the first time in franchise history. Seattle moved into a 2-1 series lead over the weekend, as they registered an excellent 7-2 home win on Sunday evening.

The Kraken was excellent in the second period of that victory, as they scored five times. One of their biggest assets is the fact that goals are being scored from everywhere on the ice. There was evidence of that on Sunday, with seven different scorers finding the net for the Kraken. Among those were Matty Beniers, Justin Schultz, and Alexander Wennberg.

Meanwhile, the Stars will be looking to get back on level terms before the series heads back to Dallas later in the week. The game was certainly lost in the second period on Sunday, as they were blown away by the hosts in the middle period. They will need to be stronger throughout the game this week if they are to level the series.

The Stars scored just twice in response against the Kraken in game three, with the efforts being netted by Jani Hakanpaa and Mason Marchment. Meanwhile, it was a challenging night for Jake Oettinger in the Stars goal, as he made just 12 saves from 17 shots before being replaced by Scott Wedgewood.

Picks

The Kraken was excellent in game three of this series, and they will be looking to maintain that form against the Stars on Tuesday. However, we expect the visitors to strike back and level the series.
