Team News
A sixth game in the series between the Maple Leafs and Lightning is set for Saturday, with Toronto having one final opportunity to avoid a seventh game. The Leafs had the opportunity to book their passage through to the next round in game five, but they were beaten at the Scotiabank Arena by the Lightning.
That could have been their golden opportunity to end their long wait for a series win in the NHL playoffs, but a victory at Amalie Arena on Saturday would avoid the stress of a game seven. The Toronto goals in the 4-2 home loss were netted by Auston Matthews and Morgan Rielly.

The Tampa Bay Lightning used all their playoff experience in game five, as they once again rose to the occasion in Toronto. It is incredibly hard to write the Lightning off, as they have shown time and time again that they never know when they are beaten. The Lightning secured the road win on Thursday with two goals in the final period.
It was a professional display by Tampa, with Anthony Cirelli, Mikey Eyssimont, Alex Killorn, and Nick Paul all scoring goals. Meanwhile, Andrei Vasilevskiy enjoyed an excellent night in the Lightning goal, as he made 28 saves from 30 shots faced to average .933.
Picks
This series is finely poised, and we wouldnโt be surprised to see history repeat itself with a game seven between the sides being set. Therefore, we will be siding with a home win for the Lightning on Saturday.
