Game Preview
Club America is Mexico’s most successful sports club, as well as the most valuable soccer team in 2023. According to Transfermarkt, this team’s roster is worth more than $90 million, which is almost 30% more than the value of UANL Tigres’ squad.
Club America’s most valuable player is 26-year-old forward Julian Quinones who’s been in top shape since the start of the postseason.
His colleague from the attacking department, Diego Valdes, has also been sensational and the same goes for the USMNT winger Alex Zendejas. Then, there’s the team captain Henry Martin who’s been playing great consistently throughout the 2023 Apertura.
The skipper was the one who scored the only goal for Club America in the first leg of the Apertura final. His team, however, allowed a goal 20 minutes later, which is why the job isn’t done for them.
UANL Tigres might not be famous for being too lethal in the attack, but these guys have proven many times that they excel in big games. They’ve got a really strong midfield with experienced players who never back down.
