Last year, LAFC failed to defend the title, but Steve Cherundolo’s men did come very close. After winning the Western Conference, they got to play against the Columbus Crew in the MLS Cup Game.
They conceded two early goals and failed to get back in the game. LAFC’s best player Denis Bouanga scored one goal but that wasn’t enough. This guy’s still on the roster and is determined to do even better in 2024 than last season.
This time, he’s going to have even better teammates to help him out than before. The biggest name LAFC has signed ahead of the 2024 MLS season is Hugo Lloris, the 2018 World Cup-winning goalkeeper. This team has also signed defender Omar Campos and midfielder David Martinez.
