Event Preview

The highly competitive action in Germany’s Bundesliga resumes following the international break this weekend. Eintracht Frankfurt will still have hopes of finishing in a Champions League spot in 2024-25, and they come into this round after winning half of their 26 matches this term.

Stuttgart’s form has dipped in the second half of the season, and a run of three defeats in their last five has seen them drop to tenth in the standings. However, there is still time for them to get their campaign back on track, and a win on Saturday could see them move within two points of the top six.

Frankfurt have a very strong head-to-head record against Stuttgart, having lost just two of the last eleven meetings between the sides. However, both of those defeats were suffered last term. Frankfurt responded with a fine win over their rivals earlier this season.

However, it is worth noting that they come into this round after losing their last two at home. But, they haven’t suffered three straight home losses since February 2022.

Stuttgart are winless in their last five matches, and they have also suffered defeats in five of their nine fixtures in 2025. That is as many defeats as they had suffered in the first half of the campaign.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Stuttgart Picks

This match could easily go in either direction, based on the team that brings their A-game. However, the slight preference is for the hosts, as they have a fine head-to-head record against their opponents, and have been reliable throughout the campaign.
