Game Preview
Barcelona had to go through extra time to beat Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey finals, 3-2. It was a roller coaster game, with Blaugrana taking the lead, then Real flipping it, before a late equalizer by Ferran Torres forced the additional 30 minutes of play.
Barcelona has 12 wins, two ties, and one loss in the previous 15 games across all competitions. Meanwhile, they haven’t lost at home since late December, and had 21 games with 4+ goals scored overall.
Inter couldn’t score in previous back-to-back matches, losing to Bologna on the road, 1-0, and then being wiped out by AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina. It was 0-3 in the Coppa Italia semis reverse leg, a clear sign that Inter is having problems.
Simone Inzaghi’s unit has kept a clean sheet in only two of the last 10 road games. Their defense hasn’t been that great recently, unlike in the first part of the year, when it looked better.
