Game Preview
Juventus has four ties in a row, which is something interesting. Three were in the Serie A and one in the UCL, a road event against Aston Villa, 0-1. They managed to crawl back from the abyss against Bologna this weekend, settling for a 2-2 tie following a two-goal deficit.
This was the first game after six straight Juve games to end with three or more goals. Something isn’t right with the Old Lady, and the results clearly show that—seven ties and only two wins over the recent nine games.
City’s problems are even greater. They have one triumph in the last nine events and, believe it or not, six losses. They had met Crystal Palace on the road this weekend, playing 2-2.
This was the eighth time that Guardiola’s unit conceded two or more goals in the previous nine matches. What is happening with City’s defense? We simply don’t know.
Lineups & Injury News
Bremer, Cabal, Douglas Luiz, McKennie and Gonzales are out for Juve.
Ake, Bobb, Foden, Kovacic, and Rodri are unavailable for Pep Guardiola. Akanji and Stones are questionable.

Juventus vs. Manchester City Predictions
Juve isn’t playing well, but their rivals too underachieve heavily. We expect a slower pace here and a more defensive-minded approach, so we pick 2 or 3 goals.
- Juventus vs. Manchester City pick: 2 or 3 goals
