Match Preview
Arsenal have made an excellent return to the Champions League this term, as they already look on course to reach the knockout stage. The Gunners sit four points clear at the top of the group after winning three of their opening four matches in Group B. They also come into this fixture after winning each of their last two.
The pressure will be on Lens this week, as they could enhance their chances of reaching the next round by picking up a shock win at the Emirates. At present, they sit third in the standings, and they are winless in their previous two matches, which has handed the advantage to PSV in Group B.

However, Lens has the upper hand in the previous encounters between these sides, as they are unbeaten in three matches against the Gunners. They were also excellent winners against Arsenal in the previous match between the sides on matchday two.
An interesting trend to consider this week is the fact that eight of the nine previous matches between English and French clubs have been won by the team with home field advantage. The only exception to that rule came in December 2020, as PSG landed a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford against Man United.
Arsenal vs Lens Prediction
Arsenal’s record in this fixture would be a concern, but we will be siding with the Gunners to end their winless run against Lens on Wednesday. We expect the home side to win by a comfortable two-goal margin, meaning the preference is for the Gunners on the spread.
